General Information
Newport M.U.D. is located East Northeast of Houston and provides utility service to the Newport neighborhood which includes Condominiums and Sand Hill Creek Apartments. The district is located in an area generally North of Hwy 90 and open Acreage, bounded by San Jancinto River and Lake Houston on the West, Lake Shadows and Open Acreage on the North and Old Crosby on the South and East. The district lies within the County line of Harris County.
The district is professionally managed by Professional Utility Services whose primary responsibilities include managing the water services, wastewater services and maintenance of the District facilities. Trash collection is by an outside company.
